Root and Nectar Arrives on Monticello

After months of anticipation and speculation, Root and Nectar Café is now open for business on Monticello Ave! This juice bar/health food spot offers a daily menu of healthy drinks and eats with a strong plant-based focus.

The menu includes a large selection of beverages - organic juices as well as shots and elixirs, smoothies and protein-packed endurance shakes. Among the food options are acai bowls, avocado and other toasts plus yummy healthful takes on comfort food. For example, Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries, a well-seasoned Chickpea Mayo Toona Sandwich and The Rasta Pasta – penne in a cashew miso cream sauce with island spices, broccoli, edamame and red and orange peppers.

Café Monticello shop is currently open from 10am-6pm.
