The vintage shopping scene in Jersey City continues to evolve. Enter Cranky Angel -the latest woman-owned shop to offer nostalgic clothes and accessories to the fashion-obsessed.

A little history: JC’s Another Man’s Treasure is renown in international fashion and vintage circles for the quality and curation of their vintage pieces, so it’s no surprise that Montana, the owner of Cranky Angel, began her retail career there. She began her own selling of her vintage pieces in 2017 and lo, Cranky Angel came to be. Her own curated business began with her selling her 2000’s line of clothing and accessories online via Depop and Poshmark as well as in person at the Jersey City Handmade Market on Grove St.

Her shop is bringing in the moms and daughters that are equally obsessed with the fashions of that time – beaded jeans, bags, embroidered tanks, you name it. The storefront is welcome, fun, and the perfect place to revisit a simpler, easier time in both fashion and culture.
