Eggs Up in Bergen-Lafayette

Interior of a coffee shop with a glass display case of baked goods, a chalkboard menu, hanging pendant lights, and floral decorations on the wall.

Bergen-Lafayette has a brand-new breakfast and lunch spot called Eggs Up. This cozy little eatery comes courtesy of the management team behind Buddy’s JC and the old Liberty Park Diner. Fans of both restaurants may notice some familiar items on the menu. Specifically, a revamp of Buddy’s super satisfying vegetarian burrito stuffed with cheddar, eggs, salsa, avocado and jalapenos. There is also the LSP – a tasty egg and pastrami sandwich with spicy mayo and pickled onions. Back to breakfast – besides their egg sandwiches, Eggs Up serves pancakes, waffles and French toast. Meatier lunch options include a bacon burger with cheese, chicken parm, an Italian sub and grilled chicken and roast beef sandwiches. They have a full coffee menu as well as soft drinks. This is a fantastic addition to this beautiful historic neighborhood. Plus, it sits at the base of the Atlas residential building, right outside of Liberty State Park and the Light Rail Station, making it a perfect spot for commuters to grab a drink and/or bite for breakfast or lunch. The service is also really sweet, so be sure to check out Eggs Up!
