Smorgasbar (not Burg) is Back!

All you lovers of Hudson River sunsets, fancy beer and frozen drinks, rejoice. The Smorgasbar Outdoor Beer Garden is back!

Not to be confused with Smorgasburg, mind you. In 2021 the enormous open-air food market came to the Exchange Place Waterfront and brought Smorgasbar with them. While they are not coming back to JC, you can still find them in NYC.

Back to Smorgasbar. The bar menu has a long list of craft beers, some wine (by the can) and frozen drinks including mojitos, margaritas, caipirinhas and Moscow mules. For food, Carlito’s and Pie Oh My will be serving up tacos and pizza during the week while a larger group of culinary vendors will be on during the weekends. Current hours (weather allowing) are Monday-Thursday from 3PM-10PM, Friday from 3PM-11PM, Saturday from 12PM-11PM, and Sunday from 12PM-10PM. Kids are welcome up to 7pm. Furry kids under 60lbs are allowed provided they are on a leash and do not tread on the grass.
