Thirsty Quaker Turns 10

Located on a quiet street in Downtown’s Hamilton Park neighborhood, The Thirsty Quaker is Jersey City’s self-designated premier craft beer store, selling over 800 varieties that back that claim up. They are also the only shop in Hudson County to sell all of the supplies necessary for the homebrewers out there. If you are new to the craft of homebrewing, the staff at Thirsty Quaker are ready to assist. Their private brewing classes help you prepare the right equipment and ingredients for your home brewery, and give you a hands-on brewing experience. The class includes a 3 hour brewing instruction, ingredients for your favorite beer style, bottles and caps for your beer with labels.

Besides everything beer, Thirsty Quaker has an excellent selection of wines, spirits, mixers, THC-infused drinks and tasty cheeses, chocolates and artisanal snacks.

To top off all of this success, Thirsty Quaker is having a 10 year anniversary party on Sunday September 22 from 1pm – 6pm. There will be food, drinks, contests, and kid activities.
