A recent study from researchers at the University of East Anglia found that the smell of pizza is found to reduce stress and improve one’s mood. Here in JC, it didn’t take a team of researchers to explain that to us. For we have so much good pizza, including the newest from one of JC’s favorite chefs.

Tory Aunspach is one of the creatives at the heart of the Jersey City dining scene, starting with the beloved casual seafood joint Hooked before moving on to create Café Alyce on Montgomery St. His new venture is a creative offering called One World Pizza located on Baldwin Ave. right next to Café Alyce.  And now, you can be all in on the cooking experience. Sit down with Chef Tory and his fellow Chef Jesus as they prepare you an amuse bouche, a shared salad for the table and then a personal pizza created with your choice of 10 international ingredients. 

The Chef’s Table is held at One World’s compact and cozy storefront. To get in on the action, head to Resy to book a one-hour experience with slots starting at 6pm and ending 10pm. You will then fill out an online survey to share your culinary preferences for the meal. 

The cost is $30 per person plus tax and gratuity. Congratulations to the Chefs on another hit!
